  • Miles Ends Benedict's Season In Wild 11-10 Contest

    Box Score OZARK, Ala. – Miles College rallied twice to stay alive in the 2013 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Baseball Tournament and knocked out Benedict College with a wild 11-10 victory Friday night at Eagle Stadium. Benedict had a 7-2 lead after four innings, but Miles scored three runs in the fifth and sixth innings to take an 8-7 lead.

     Box Score OZARK, Ala. – The Benedict College Tigers pounded out 13 hits and scored in all but two innings to defeat Paine College 13-6 to stay alive in the 2013 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Baseball Tournament on Friday at historic Eagle Stadium. Benedict (28-12) broke open a close game with five runs in the top of the seventh and advanced to face Miles College in another loser bracket contest Friday night.

  • Chesterbrook Academy Celebrates Earth Day

    Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Youngsters at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool participated in their own Earth Day celebration. Children ranging in age from toddlers to kindergarteners released more than 4,000 ladybugs into the environment. The students learned ladybugs feed on other insects that are harmful to trees, gardens.

Harris Smith Supplied a master plan proposal to Benedict College, which included a new freshman initiative center, a new bookstore, a new park area, additional cafeteria and dining area, and many other auxiliary spaces. Nate was contacted to help develop and design some of the buildings, and provided renderings, site plans, interior views, and aerial views for their initial presentation.
